Cookie Policy

Last updated: February 2026

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to website operators. This policy also covers similar browser storage mechanisms (such as local storage) when relevant.

2. How We Use Cookies

Journtell's web application currently does not intentionally set authentication, preference, analytics, or advertising cookies from our application code.

We currently use browser local storage (not cookies) to store authentication tokens on the client side. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Journtell does not intentionally set third-party cookies through the web application today. If we introduce analytics, advertising, or other third-party services that use cookies in the future, we will update this policy and any required consent flows before enabling them.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies and other stored site data through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored on your device.
  • Delete individual or all cookies.
  • Block cookies from specific or all websites.
  • Set preferences for first-party vs. third-party cookies.

Because Journtell currently relies on browser local storage for sign-in/session persistence, clearing site data (including local storage) will sign you out and may reset local preferences.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if we change the cookies we use. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If we introduce non-essential cookies, we will implement a cookie consent mechanism as required by law.
